The horror ... the horror.
If you have BBC America, I highly recommend How Clean is Your House -- it's the perfect show when you're hung-over, sick, etc. In the show, two British cleaning women go into people's homes that haven't been cleaned in many many years and ... well ... clean it up. They also really seem to enjoy calling people "cheeky".
Not very exciting I guess, but some of these houses are really unbelievable. In one, a 55 year old woman had 11 birds. 11 birds and zero cages. Every surface of her house was completely covered in bird shit -- the bookcases, the tv, the sofa, the carpet, everything. The place looked like somebody let Jackson Pollock loose in their living room with a couple of cans of white paint and a bowler hat full of gin -- very avant garde.
Makes you wonder what horrors lie behind the front doors of your local neighborhood weirdo.
