Might as well give the Red Sox the damn trophy, it's done, the Curse hath reversed itself ...

Having opening day in a foreign country is silly.
A-Rod's first at bat as a New York Yankee in pinstripes -- a pretty big deal considering the offensive numbers this guy is putting up makes him a good candidate for top 10 players ever -- took place at 5AM in Tokyo? Five years from now, that little nugget of trivia may win a few bar bets, but for right now it does nothing for me.
You want to play exhibition games in Japan, fine. This is not fine, this is dumb, pointless, and unfair to the Yankees and Devil Rays.
To even things out, the Red Sox should do a home and home day/night doubleheader in Warsaw and Kosovo against the O's.
