Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc
About twenty minutes ago I cut the rudest silent fart in my office. I was damn worried because every morning I get a copy of the day's Federal Register put in my inbox around that same time.
Luckily, about 10 seconds later the fire alarm went off and we all had to go downstairs.
As far as I'm concerned, that proves unequivocally that my wind-making set off the fire alarm.
