I'm in a New York State of Mind --

Two things about New York that have bugged me in the last day or so:

1) Roger Clemens

Whatever, it's his life, but guess what Rocket, you can forget about going into the Hall as a Yankee now. Chowder-head.

2) The 2012 Olympics

Who in their right mind thinks this is a good idea for NYC? Explain to me the logic of spending billions of dollars that the city doesn't have to spend on schools and hospitals to build huge recreational facilities and stadiums? Forget the traffic, because that would be an absolute nightmare of a nightmare, but it's not like people don't already know about New York City -- who are we trying to impress?

I understand the feeling after 9/11 that New York lost something that we have to get back -- but that's why we're rebuilding that site. Hosting the Olympics 11 years after the fact accomplishes nothing except putting a giant bullseye on New York again for al Quaeda and whoever else.

Besides, the Olympics are dumb.

POST IT, Biatches !!
