Sickening
There's an article today in the NYT about the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth -- apparently that thing is still going on. Those people make me absolutely sick. They have got some fucking nerve going after Kerry for his record while Bush was playing flyboy in Texas.
How can you on the one hand wave the flag for the troops in Iraq and at the same time nitpick Kerry's record? Whatever you think of Kerry, those boats were one of the most dangerous assignments of that war, and he volunteered to do it. He's a legit war hero.
The whole thing is low and disgusting and shameful for whoever gave these idiots the money to do it.
