Unless Slammin' Sammy can give the birds 200 innings I don't get this deal at all. Pitching you dumb shits, pitching !! Your fucking team needs more pitching !!
This move was obviously done to put more asses in the seats -- or maybe more accurately, to keep some asses in Camden Yards' seats instead of RFK's -- but it's still pretty silly.
I also hate how ESPN will have a photo of a recently traded guy in the uniform of his new team about 5 seconds after the trade is announced. It's deceptive.
