The Weekend Sandwich
During the week, sandwiches are made quickly -- they're utilitarian, boring. But on the weekend, there's time to make a proper sandwich and to enjoy it. There's time to slice onion, tomato ... aka "the works". And there's also time to go out and buy some real nice honey maple turkey from the only place around I know of that sells decent cold cuts.
I just had me one these mothers not an hour ago and I can honestly say that my hunger has been satiated for the duration of the afternoon. I thank you, Earl of Sandwich, for your clever use of meat and bread.
