3 1/2 and counting
A while back I promised not to talk about the Red Sox again until September ... well, it's September, and those Hub Whores are running roughshod all over the AL East as we speak.
I would like to make an analogy -- terrorists only have to be right once, the government has to be right ever time.
The Yankees have won 26 World Series and 4 in the last 8 years. That's pretty fucking good -- I can name 31 teams that would give anything to have had even one run like that -- for the Yankees this only qualifies as the third best run in Yankee history.
IF the Bosox win one (1) world series, is this supposed to reverse 84 years of futility and sorrow?
For Christ's sake, the Marlins have won two w.s. since then.
