Pop-Up War II
My war against pop up ads has escalated. The Google toolbar was good enough at blocking most pop-ups, but this spyware nonsense has sent me into defcon 1 ... Internet Explorer is out, Firefox is in.
Firefox is a browser like IE but better, more secure. You also don't need to have different browsers open for each page you are looking at. Instead, you can have one Firefox screen open with tabs on top for the different pages.
It's free too.
My laptop arrives today, and you best believe that that bad boy will be locked down against these modern day vandals with their empty promises of cheap generic Viagra and online gambling.
Oh yeah, Reagan's still dead, too.
